A New Tradition at Blake High School: Blake-A-Boo

On October 26, the Student Government Association of Blake High School launched Blake-A-Boo--their own fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay. Community members, students and Bigs and Littles showed up for trick-or-treating, face painting, dancing and a "Haunted Hall." They raised $500 and had a great time doing it! Many of Blake's students are also Bigs who mentor kids at Just Elementary. Though they are young, they are committed and enthusiastic about mentoring children in need of guidance and friendship.
