High School Bigs
High school students can also get involved in Big Brothers Big Sisters. It's a great way to teach teenagers the importance of giving back to others, and their participation can be counted as community service hours which are required by many schools, colleges, and universities. Juniors and seniors in high school are allowed to participate in the Site-based program (must be at least 15 years of age) and can not transport elementary school children by car. Many high school leadership classes go together to visit the school or in many cases, the teen is allowed to visit their Little at an after school site. Check with your high school student's advisers to find out more. Just fill out an online application to get started or fill out this printable application. Please send printable applications to Jennifer Gandee: Fax: 813-286-2535 or Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay, Attn: Jennifer Gandee, 711 South Dale Mabry Highway, Ste 300, Tampa, FL 33609
