In Memory Of Adrienne Brennan (1938-2008)

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay would like to remember former Executive Director Adrienne Brennan.  Brennan joined the Big Brothers Big Sisters family in 1982 and remained the agency’s Executive Director until 1989.  She was a wonderful friend to the organization and the community as a whole.  In addition to her work with Big Brothers Big Sisters, Brennan was a board member of the Francis House, founder and president of the Children’s AIDS Foundation of Tampa Bay, and served as the director for the Divine Providence Food Bank.   She was known as a woman who took on every cause with passion and would not let go until she had exhausted all possible resources (Otto, 2008).  Brennan died at 69 from lung cancer and will always be remembered as one of Big Brothers Big Sisters great leaders.
